This Privacy Policy explains how Ramya, operated by Dr. Rahul Garg ("Ramya", "we", "us", "our", the Data Fiduciary), collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data as a Data Principal, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable Indian law. By using Ramya, you consent to the practices described here.
We collect your name, email address, phone number, and the wellness information you choose to share with Dr. Garg during consultations. We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited and session duration for site improvement.
Your information is used solely to provide and improve your Ramya wellness experience. Dr. Garg uses your personal information to create and update your wellness plan. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We process your personal information on the basis of the consent you provide when you create an account and use the service, and to perform the service you have paid for. You may withdraw consent at any time by requesting deletion of your account, subject to any records we are required to retain by law.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted in the Asia South (Mumbai) region. Access is protected by Row Level Security, meaning only you and Dr. Garg can access your plan and personal information. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use Razorpay for payment processing, Calendly for appointment booking, and Supabase for authentication and data storage. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, but only with your consent - it does not load until you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and it never loads if you decline. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. We use Sentry for error monitoring, so that technical problems can be found and fixed quickly; this may include limited technical data about your device and how an error occurred. Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy and we do not control their data practices. We encourage you to review their policies.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. On account deletion, your data is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may exercise these rights by contacting care@ramyacare.in. We will respond within 7 business days. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Ramya is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it.
Ramya is available to residents of India only. If you access this service from outside India, you are not eligible to use it, and any account created may be suspended.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date and takes effect once posted.
